In regulated professions such as healthcare, education, law, and engineering, credential assessment and licensing by regulatory bodies are required—and the process can be costly and time-consuming. Funded by the Federal Government of Canada, PICS–Foreign Credential Recognition (FCR) is a non-profit program designed to support skilled newcomers through this transition.
PICS–FCR Loans offer multiple loans of up to $30,000 to help cover the costs of credential evaluation, licensing exams, training, and related expenses—empowering you to return to your profession or pursue alternative career pathways in Canada.
