More than 150 internationally trained #doctors and #nurses attended the Health Sector Conference hosted by Progressive Intercultural Community Services (PICS) Society-FCR, along with Christian Saint Cyr. It was a great opportunity for #internationallytrained doctors and nurses to learn about the navigation pathway, gain knowledge about the regulatory bodies, and explore networking/volunteering opportunities.
PICS-FCR would like to thank Noah D. Arney, #AmanGrewal, Doctor #ShivSharma, and Doctor #Mossa for their valuable presence today and for sharing their knowledge and experiences to empower internationally trained doctors and nurses.
At the end of the conference, a 20-member internationally trained doctors advisory committee was formed. They will meet regularly to identify gaps and challenges and make recommendations to the FCR program. This advisory committee will be the future platform where internationally trained doctors can address the gaps, challenges, and recommendations
